When picturing my dream job, I imagined something where I could use my skills to help others and Osteopathy has given me the tools to do just that! The way in which this profession challenges your thinking is extremely rewarding and the fact it enables strong professional relationships to be formed is a bonus.
We have the time to really get to know you and your life which plays an important role in your symptoms. Whether it’s an acute injury or a long-standing ache you’ve been meaning to address, your treatment and advice is tailored specifically to you. I enjoy the structural approach to Osteopathy, with the aim of restoring your function and getting you back to normality.
Before I became an Osteopath I worked as a swimming instructor, this opened up my love for working with children. So much so that I am currently undergoing my post graduate certification in Specialist Paediatric Osteopathy. This is a fascinating, highly effective form of manual therapy that I’m passionate about and solidifies why I love this career so much.
